Clay Whistles:
Grades 4 - 12 (4 to 7 days)

Materials - Earthenware Lo-fire clay, glazes or acrylic paints, plastic spoons and Popsicle sticks.

Equipment - Kiln

Days 1-2: Students will make whistle and let dry for three to four days

Days 3-4: Whistle still drying.

Day 5: Fire whistles in kiln.

Day 6-7: Paint whistles with acrylic paints. If glazes are used, then whistle will have to be fired on the 7th day.
