Materials - Balloons, newspaper, paper-mache paste, mulch (attic insulation) or Celluclay and acrylic paints.

Day 1: In groups of two, students will paper-mache balloons and let dry over night.

Days 2-4: Cut paper-mached balloons in half and give each student a half. Students will then apply Celluclay/mulch and create the face and let it dry over night. Some students might need another day or two to create face and will do so on the 3rd and 4th day.

Days 5-7: Mask drying. Students who completed application of mulch and their mask are dry, can now paint their mask.

Days 8-10: Students who needed more time for mulch application can now paint their mask.
