Materials - Clay tiles, tile adhesive, grout, cement board, and glue.

Day 1: Draw design for mosaic. Lay out broken tiles over your design.

Day 2: If design wasn’t completely covered with tile, take this day to complete. Apply glue on entire sheet of paper, which will completely cover your mosaic. Lay sheet of glue paper over mosaic and let dry overnight.

Day 3: Apply tile adhesive to cement board, which mosaic will go onto. Now apply mosaic onto cement board and let it dry overnight.

Day 4: Peel off paper covering your mosaic and wipe off all glue on your mosaic. Now apply grout to mosaic and let dry over night.

Day 5: Wipe off surface of mosaic with a wet sponge.
